Cookie Policy

Which cookies we use, what for, and how to manage them.

Last updated: 10 June 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files the site stores on your device to remember information between visits, such as your chosen language or usage statistics. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, are treated the same way in this policy.

2. How we use cookies

dazona.pt uses a small number of cookies, managed through Google Tag Manager, organised into three categories: essential, analytics and advertising. We do not use cookies to profile visitors beyond these categories.

3. Essential cookies

These are required for the site to work and do not need consent. They include the language cookie (NEXT_LOCALE), which remembers your choice between Portuguese and English.

4. Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics to measure the site's audience. These cookies (with names such as _ga and _ga_*) assign an anonymous identifier to your browser and may stay on your device for up to two years. The data we consult is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors.

5. Advertising cookies

When the site displays ads through Google AdSense, Google may use cookies to measure ad delivery and, with your consent, personalise ads based on your interests. Information on how Google uses this data is available at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

6. Managing cookies

You can manage your preferences in the site's consent panel and in your browser settings, where cookies can be blocked or deleted. For Google advertising, adjust your preferences at adssettings.google.com; for Google Analytics, an opt-out add-on is available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the site works.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy at any time, in particular when new services are introduced. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the update date shown above.
