Privacy Policy

What data we process, why, and what your rights are.

Last updated: 10 June 2026

1. Data controller

The controller for personal data collected through dazona.pt is VIZUH OÜ, a company registered in Estonia under registry code 16587160, with its registered office at Sakala tn 7-2, 10141 Tallinn, Estonia. In this policy, "Dazona", "we" and "our" refer to VIZUH OÜ.

2. Data we process

We process only the data needed to run the site: technical browsing data (IP address, device and browser type, pages visited), usage statistics, the email address you provide when subscribing to the newsletter, and your approximate location when you use the places-near-you feature. There are no user accounts and no identification details are required to browse the site.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use this data to provide and improve the site (legitimate interest), measure audience in aggregate (consent), send the newsletter to subscribers (consent) and display advertising (consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

4. Location data

The places-near-you feature only accesses your location after you allow it in your browser. The coordinates are sent to our server solely to calculate the nearest places and return the results. They are not stored, not linked to any profile and not shared with third parties.

5. Newsletter

The email address you provide when subscribing is used exclusively to send the newsletter itself. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email. Delivery may be handled by an email service provider acting as a processor under our instructions.

6. Analytics

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used: most visited pages, traffic sources and technical performance. The reports we consult are aggregated and do not allow us to identify individual visitors. The cookies involved are described in the Cookie Policy.

7. Advertising

The site may display ads through the Google AdSense programme. In that context, Google may use cookies and identifiers to measure and, with your consent, personalise the ads shown. You can manage Google's advertising preferences at adssettings.google.com. More detail in the Cookie Policy.

8. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the providers that keep the site running, such as Google (analytics and advertising), our hosting provider and our email delivery provider, all bound by processing agreements. Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area; in those cases, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

9. Retention periods

Technical access logs are kept for short periods, for security and diagnostics only. Analytics data follows the retention periods configured in Google Analytics. The newsletter email address is kept until you unsubscribe.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us by email at support@vizuh.com or by post to the address above. We will respond within one month.

11. Complaints

If you believe the processing of your data breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Estonian supervisory authority, the Andmekaitse Inspektsioon (aki.ee), or, if you live in Portugal, with the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt).

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the update date shown above. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
